Hiking Wonders Await At The Wynn Nature Center, Homer, AK

Get up close and personal with nature's bountiful wildlife, wildflowers, and gorgeous landscape at the 140-acre preserve of Alaska's Wynn Nature Center. Hike through five miles of forested trails and be on the lookout or listen out for stunning songbirds, marvelous moose, and colorful plant life.
 
Keep your phone or camera handy to snap incredible pictures from the viewing platforms overlooking the breathtaking landscape of Homer. Explore a little further with a guided kayaking or boat combo tour where you can easily spot some sea creatures and more unique birds, and gain a wider respect for wilderness.

Prices vary based on tours selected. Daily user fee; CACS members are free.
 

Hours -

Open 10am-6pm Daily; Daily guided hikes and programs are available Mid-June to Labor Day. School field trips are scheduled in September. Winter recreation is available October 1st to May 31st.

Each tour group has about 9 hikers and tours can often be customized to a degree depending on everyone's interests.
